#31 Is Mental Health Medication for the Weak or the Wise

Is mental health medication for the weak or the wise? We’re going to look into that question today on Quick Counsel. In my counseling office, I see people who are clearly depressed or struggling with anxiety. And some of them are struggling to the point that their depression or anxiety is interfering with their relationships, their work, their enjoyment...and life in general. Yet, when I suggest that they might need to see their physician about the possibility of taking an antidepressant or an anti-anxiety medication, many of them push back and resist the suggestion.

From Series: "Quick Counsel 2021"

I’m a pastoral counselor with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, a Masters Degree in Religious Education, and more than 30 years of years of experience in helping people. And my goal with this podcast is to help people who might not ever go to counseling understand concepts and issues that could improve their life.
